Train to Tuscany (PQM salami on focaccia, with ricotta, puntarella, honey and moscatel vinegar) and a Ham on Rye Three Floyds, Publican Quality Meats, Chicago
This sandwich was DIVINE. Publican opened this place right next door a few weeks ago, and it seems like no one has been disappointed. Big cases of meats and cheese greet you, and next time I go I’ll make sure I’m going straight home after so I can purchase some of those! But, let’s focus on the sandwich(es).
Here is the sandwich in all its glory:

This wasn’t overloaded with meat, which I loved. I’d never think to put all these ingredients together, and it worked so well. Sweetness from the honey and moscatel vinegar were a nice contrast to the meat. The bread was incredibly soft yet held it all together. Apparently puntarella is an Italian chicory-like plant, and apparently I love it. The chips were awesome too, not a soggy one in the pile!
Here’s the complete sandwich menu. This is something I tried to find through extensive Googling and social media searches before going, to no avail.

And here’s an awful photo of the inside.

I very much wish I lived or worked close enough to it to venture there for lunch often.
